Freaky Flow To Release New Album
LOS ANGELES, California, USA – September 1, 2009 – Freaky Flow, Canada’s most booked and best-selling drumandbass DJ, recently announced that on Tuesday, October 13, 2009, he will release his first DJ mix album in over five years.
The new project, “The Furious Factor”, is a concept record: Lexx and D-Region, owners of Canada’s longest-running active drumandbass label, Furious Records, approached Flow with the idea of having him mix a retrospective of their label’s catalogue. “Through the years,” explains Freaky Flow, “I’ve been a big fan of many of the songs released on Furious Records. When they asked me to do this project, it was a no-brainer. I just picked my favorite tracks from their imprint, and then we went into the studioto make this thing happen.” Flow and the Furious team next teamed up with New York’s Moist Music, bringing the project to international audiences, by way of traditional CD distribution, and the fast-growing digital distribution network. “The Furious Factor” includes fan favorites and classics like “The Way It Feels”, “Release”, “Terminator’s Theme”, and “Gentleman”, with a host of producers and re-mixers including D-Region, Division By Zero, The Ruffneck, Illfingas, and even Freaky Flow himself.
Enthusiasts can expect another healthy dose of pure, raw drumandbass.
