grooveTEK electronica music

I was born and raised in Toronto, Canada, and have always had a passion for music. From a young age I played the guitar and quickly learned how music could be a powerful force. As a teenager I spent a significant amount of time traveling to Europe and the Middle East, and lived for a short time in London and Geneva. Here I had my first real taste of House music and frequented many underground clubs, absorbing all I could. I was amazed at how music could create so much energy, tension and emotion. And how it could heal the soul. In 1994 I moved to Philadelphia and other than living in NYC for a few years it has been my home. For the past 20 years I have been influenced by many styles of music, from classic rock and reggae to disco and classic house. In 2006 I touched my first turntable/CDJ and never looked back. My passion and drive to create music and touch the human spirit seems endless and amazingly grows with each day. I currently use CDJs with Serato to create my sets, and recently have been experimenting with Ableton Live and MIDI controllers. I hope you enjoy my creations and comments/feedback are always appreciated.
