Sonikross AKA Nigel Ross first appeared on the dance music scene as SonikKross. His debut single, a collaboration with Michel Spiegel, (Nuw Idol, WellWicked Records) “SonikKross – Walking With Dreamz”, got major aclaim with a No.1 from John 00 Fleming in DJ magazine and pride of place as the last tune on the “Christopher Lawrence, Around The World” compilation!
In 2004, he and DJ friend John Hutchison(Johnny Frenetic) formed the live house band Tokyoblu. Nigel took on what became a huge task of co-writing and producing the music to be played live by the band at the monthly Edinburgh club also called Tokyoblu. The bands live set up consisted of 2 vocalists, guitar, bass, keys, drums and decks with Nigel controlling things from a laptop and also adding extra guitar on his rockier numbers!!
They gained great success on the live scene being touted as the “Scottish Bassment Jaxx” and packed out the monthly clubnight playing nonstop sets constructed just like a DJ set. This then transfered itself to festivals with amazing sets to thousands at T in the park, V festval and Becks Fusions.
Tokyoblu’s debut EP “Groove Tonight” (containing no less then 4 mixes produced by Nigel Ross) charted at no3 in the DMC chart and no6 in the Upfront House chart. This added to some amazing bootlegs have ensured Nigel’s mixes are sitting in many a top DJ’s record box.
The next chapter has only just begun! With numerous remixes due for release and new original material under way there’s big things in store from Sonikross!

Anna Kiss is a versatile, imaginative female DJ and producer, responsible for delighting a global audience with her unique fusion of House, Tech House, dirty Electro and Dubstep since 2000.

Anna is in demand throughout Europe, North America, South America and Asia. Whether it’s a short set in Ibiza or a mammoth five hour set in Karachi, a dirty monster Electro/Dubstep set in the USA or a hypnotic Prog/Tribal House set in Egypt, her experience and professional approach shine through, leaving both the crowd and promoters in no doubt why she attracts such an international fan base.

Anna’s legendary ‘Lip Locked’ radio show is aired on Digitally Imported, Dance FM and Kiss FM Algarve (amongst many others) drawing well over 3,000 weekly listeners. Anna has become a firm favourite, this success down to a combination of great tunes and an engaging presentation style.

In 2008 Anna took her sound engineering and music technology diploma and passed with distinction. Since then her production work picked up a pace with five releases in 2009 and two releases so far in 2010, one of which hit number 54 in the Beatport Electro chart. Anna has also worked with the BBC for a documentary on the differences between analogue and digital, where she produced, pressed and played one of her tracks at the Ministry of Sound.

Fiercely independent, mostly-Irish but currently London-based, I Am Not Lefthanded are known for their homemade, quirky videos as much as their lyrical, evocative music. Described as sounding like ‘Natalie Merchant fronting Death Cab for Cutie’, they’ve toured around the UK and Ireland alone and with Duke Special, The Rumble Strips and The Answering Machine. In 2008, they released their debut mini-album, Yes Means No, on fast-rising UK indie Letterbox Records. Receiving airplay on London, Irish and Scottish Radio, as well the lead track Long Goodbyes, featuring on the soundtrack for ‘Cruelty’. They’re currently launching their follow-up EP, Time To Leave on an unsuspecting world…

    “A favourite DJ told me that Tech-House wasn’t a sound in itself, but was created by mixing House with Tekno, two genres that can be traced back to Chicago and Detroit and beyond. These are my favorite dance floor sounds, but we’ve come a long way since then.”

    With an eclectic taste that also includes hip-hop, trip-hop, glitch-hop, electronica, rock, soul, funk, and not to forget disco, and dub, David is now experimenting with Dub Step and beginning to produce his own material and remix.

    “I’m looking forward to working with SoundCloud artists, finding new musicians and new producers and finding new tunes, and getting them in the mix – before they make it big – cos they will!”
