But if Brooklyn wasn’t part of NYC, and was instead was an independent municipality (which was actually the case until 1898), it would be the country’s fifth-largest city. In an era where Boulder, Colorado, can have an electronic-music festival—that burg’s Communikey get-together is a damn fine one, by the way—surely the county of Kings should host its own fest.
