The Right to Speak
In President Obama’s speech to the United Nations on September 23, 2009, he spoke of a ‘new direction’. Two years ago, four solitary nations voted against the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous People, they were Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and the United States of America. The Australian government has since reversed its vote and now support the international human rights standard toward Indigenous people.

Thievery Corporation – The State Of The Union by pinheads This summer, Thievery Corporation will hit many of the biggest music festivals in the US. After a successful trip to Indio CA for Coachella in April, Thievery will gear up to head back to CA for the Electric Daisy Carnival on June 26th. After that, they will hit Lollapalooza in Chicago, the Outside Lands Festival in San Francisco, and Austin City Limts Festival in Austin.
