The Net has provided us a way to share our work and the work of others, providing you with alternatives. This experimental site and project is totally self-funded and the artists presented here share their work with you freely.

Keeping it Reel: A Unique Opportunity for Local Filmmakers | NewEnglandFilm.com

By Kerry O’Donnell

The Reel Festival (formally the Reel Movement) will take place from May 28th to June 1st at the Somerville Theater, 55 Davis Square, Somerville, MA. The festival, organized by filmmakers Rod Webber, Ali Jalet and David Grophear, is a quarterly independent film showcase, featuring all genres, lengths and styles of films.

Fortunately, we are living to fight another day in our new production company, Unique Features.

I Covered My Eyes investigates childhood notions of threat and safety by juxtaposing TV news broadcasts of tragic world events with home movie footage.
